No need to even embrace the chaos. The SF Giants have made the SF 49ers virtually irrelevent in the Bay Area this year. Even post World Series hype is more interesting than the 49ers right now IMHO.

I haven't seen an interesting story since the news about Troy Smith starting.
We've got all these questions answered already:
Will this be Alex Smith's breakout season? No
Will Coach Sing be fired during the season? No
Should Jimmy Raye be fired? Yes
When will Taylor Mays into the starting spot? He's now starting.
When will Navaro Bowman move into the starting spot? Not this year.
How will the rookie 0-linemen play this year? Making rookie mistake, but doing ok.
Will Brian Westbrook make our offense explosive? No
Will Anthony Dixon be a game changer? Not this year
Will Clements lose another step this year? No, he's on par for blown plays
Will Travis Leboy help our pass rush? No
Is putting Bass at Center a mistake? No
Can Carr get it done if Alex falters or gets hurt? No
Will Nate Davis be ready this year? No
Will someone pick him up if we release him? No
Will we manage the clock better this year? No
Will our offense be better with continuity? No
Will our defense be even better than last year? No
Will our special teams suffer with the departures of Al Everest and M-Rob? Yes
Will a new stadium in Santa Clara be approved? Yes
Will Jed be the 2nd coming of Eddie D.? No
Will we miss McCloughan's expertise and keen eye for talent? No
Will the players Seattle picked out of our trash bin become starters? No
Only one unanswered question left. Will we win the division?...

Good post. I only question the question about special teams. For me Ginn easily makes up for anything we lost with Mrob. Our gunners have actually been pretty good this season. Everything else, yes, yes and yes.

I'm numb to their chaos.
Until they replace that impostor masquerading as our Head Coach.
Take that Bears/Ravens crap somewhere else.
It's not the Niner way.

Word.
Until this organization remembers we're the 49ers and we win with High powered WCO we won't do crap. As soon as they tried to change our identity we started to suck.
BRING BACK BILL WALSH OFFENSE!!!!!!

You are right that Ginn is a huge upgrade at returns and Mays and Dixon are playing well on ST, but watching the games it seems like I've see a lot more deep returns and kickers having to make TD saving tackles this year.
At my age it could just be the memory going.

The problem with the 49ers right now, is that they're awful to watch. They are literally, no fun to watch. Mike Sinlgetary has taken all the fun out of 49er football. Watching a game these days is as bad as a root canal, literally.

Then why are you posting here, this is not the sf giants board? Im from so cal and the 49er faithful down here havent givin up hope, this is why they need to move the team to LA, too many spoiled babies that dont realize what it is to have an NFL team in your town, shameful.

At least you say it aloud. I definitely disagree with you, but how you feel is indicative of alot of fans who aren't use to following a running team. They like Frank Gore when he busts off a 70 yard run, but when he's in the trenches doin the dirty work, gettin the 3, 4 yard runs, it takes to wear down a defense. its not as entertaining. Which can affect their analysis of what the Niners really need to do to improve, because being entertaining, and winning football games do not necessarily go hand in hand.
