the only legit options are Carr and Troy Smith. Anyone who thinks that Davis will go from practice squad to starting QB in one week is f**king delusional.
What will happen is that Carr will start and play the game, and maybe the next game or two as well. And if Smith isn't back then maybe Troy will start for a game or two. And Davis will be lucky to get some snaps in the last few games.
This whole team is practice squad players, so he will fit in nicely.
we are one HC and one QB away from greatness. There are many examples of teams that were awful, but were ONE player away from greatness (even with the same coach).... Rams/Warner, Saints/Brees, Falcons/Ryan, and soon to be Rams/Bradford.

Nate or Troy see what we have in the young guns
I don't want Alex to play if hurt and ruin his career in the NFL he can be a backup for plenty of teams, no reason for him to play for nothing....[/center]

Troy Smith first half. Nate Davis second half. Regardless of the score. Its time to evaluate the talent. That goes for every position. If I were the owners I would demand it. Sing is done anyway. He can't save his job anymore.

you can't start Nate Davis with the whole world watching. They were saying on the radio if the sprain to Alex's shoulder is really just a ball joint sprain they can shoot him up with cortisone and he should be good to go.
its obvoius he is the best QB on the roster.
Seeing as how we don't know how good or bad Troy is and we know Alex isn't very good, NO, it is NOT obvious he's the best QB on the roster. It's only obvious that David Carr is the worst QB on the roster.

Just start Gore and let him sit back in the Tazer!
He will be the only one getting the ball ANYWAY!
Did you guys see the check down to Gore on the last play of the game? We weren't even on the other side of the 50 yard line!
They may as well cut Westbrook and elevate Nate Davis, they aren't using Westbrook anyway!
