In my opinion, the 49ers should NOT fire Mike Singletary before the end of the season. If you fire Singletary and elevate Manusky, the 49ers cannot demote Manusky at the end of the year back to DC if they decide he's not the answer either. If they should promote anyone to interim, it should probably be Jim Tomsula, who was the head coach of Europa's Rhein Fire in 2006.
Tomsula is expendable at the end of the season, so who cares if he gets butt hurt feelings for not being the next Head Coach.
