Shame on the 49ers if they lose this game

The ridiculous management of Heitmann (mystery neck injury) and Gore (he's overworked? Shocker!!!!) this week continues to confirm that Singletary is way over his head, and will only continue to embarrass this franchise as time passes.

Cut the cord, end the pain. Let's get someone who knows what they are doing.

I hear you loud and clear on Singletary ------ what a joke he has become. I just can't bring myself to actively cheer for a loss , but I can find positives in the removal of Singletary and his overly simplistic approach to offense along with his game management and an earlier draft pick does sound like a good consolation prize.

GO NINER'S
Cheering for loses. What great fans.

Well...

When your measuring stick for success includes Alex "I haven't proven s**t to be an NFL starter" Smith, and Mike "I have better credentials managing a 7-11" Singletary, losing for high draft picks + better coaching feels like getting both your balls and dick sucked by a sexy lady with three tits.

Winning with Alex Smith and Singletary on the other hand feels like getting your balls sucked... but getting a finger up your ass by Kirstie Alley.

Fans wanting losses just so Mike Singletary and Alex Smith aren't on the team anymore? The sad part about fans nowadays is their egos based off their perceived GM intellect and football analysis is so high, they've forgotten that at the end of the day, no matter how good or bad a player or coach is on the team, come Sunday your role is still to root for them like hell.

You are actively cheering for your team to lose? What a fan.
he has explained very well why he cheeres for the niners to lose...and i am on his side. i'd rather lose the 2 games before the bye and get new coaches or at least a new HC then keep sing and destroy that piece of team morale we still have...and with that the development of the talented players and so on...u have to see the big picture.

How do you know Sing isn't a significant reason why there still is team morale? Is that how you think a successful franchise is run? losing games in the hope that the next head coach will be better? You dont even have any idea who will be available to us, yet you just want to fire our head coach with no backup plan? That's not looking at the big picture at all...thats incredibly short sided actually.
While you're rooting for the Niners to lose, think about this. The more we lose, the more money it takes for us to resign what talent we do have. No player is going to cut a break to a franchise that cant seem to get their stuff together. Not to mention, players already on the team start to get disgruntled from losing, and dont play as hard for fear of getting injured.. And any free agent that dares look this direction is not going to settle for anything but top dollar.
Not to mention, walk up to Takeo Spikes who's playin his butt off for us this season, and tell him that we should try to lose the games for the sake of the big picture. When you wake up, come back on the board and let us know if you had any epiphanies during your nap...

u are just another blind fan...u really think that a non-knowledgable HC is the reason that there is a team morale? do u like working for a boss who dont know s**t of his work???
a head coach have to know the x's and o's of this game at least on one side of the ball, at least for interfering if the DC or OC does a s**tty job...like happened at tampa bay last year, where the HC fired his DC in the midle of the season and took his job over.
i dont even care about who is available for us in that shortage of time. i wanna get rid of sing. it wouldnt be worse if we hadnt a HC until the end of the season.

and just one hint: with sing we will lose, no matter how u look at it. if we start a winning streak, we lose a good draft position and keep that coach with us...if we keep losing, the morale will be finally destroyed...

but it's ok, it's not sing's fault that we tried to run a smashmouth-football, which a)was very predictable and b)didnt worked at all. yeah, i see your arguments...
f**k YEAH!!! GIANTS WIN THE FKN PENNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, and those two RBs havent managed anything useable this season...and our d-line showed their 09' strength against the run last week vs. a good raiders' running game.
but yes, i am more concerned about steve smith...our pass-rush is still bad and our secondary is inconsistent.
I had a dream last night; Niners - 41 Panthers - 0.

I woke up in a sweat, that dream just woke me right up. But i laughed and went back to sleep. I'm thinking the dream had something to do with the fair amount od local moonshine I drank last night before I "went to sleep"...

I've noticed Sing haters are so hung up on the term "smash mouth' football as if that means Sing hates the idea of passing. Look, lets be real honest. Coming into this was Alex's last shot at being the franchise QB for the Niners, because he's been so inconsistent to just plain bad his entire career here, that signing him to an extension was just plain ludicrous. So Sing tried to put Alex in the best possible position to succeed. He brought in a non threatening backup QB in David Carr that was just good enough to take over if Smith got hurt. He brought back Jimmy Raye, which was the first time in Alex's career that he had the same coordinator going into another season, and he made the offense run around Frank Gore (our most consistent offensive threat) taking the pressure off of Alex to throw the ball 40 times a game.

Unfortunately, the running plays that were dialed up for Gore were uncreative and repetitive, as well as the o-line simply being young and inefficient. There weren't holes for Gore... and Alex despite having things simplified for him continues to create turnovers. Well, after three games of predictable play calling, guess what? Jimmy Raye is fired, Mike Johnson takes over, and the offense is noticably improved. However Alex is still Alex, and still commits costly turnovers that cost us the game.

If you were a head coach and you had an inconsistent QB, would you want the fate of the game constantly in his hands? Or would you turn to your PRO BOWLER Frank Gore in the hopes that ball control and good defense could win you the game? I dont understand how people dont get the logic in this? You dont try to reinvent the West Coast Offense with a QB whom is probably going to get dumped in the off-season.
I dont care how Mike Singletary looks or sounds on the sidelines or in press conferences, his plan coming into the season was the best plan possible. And if we cut out the turnovers, we'd be 3-3 right now.

BTW, what type of fan are you that has already written off the season? Why bother posting?? Its lose lose if we go on a winning streak?? Do they really take these type of opinions seriously on this board?

The only thing left to obsess about will be how high our draft pick is, and what changes will be made next year. A season that began with so much hope will have totally gone down the crapper. In just 7 weeks.
