I'm glad we got our first win, yet, I'm cautiously optimistic.
If we can hold our losses to only 3 more games, we can go 8-8 and possibly have a shot at the division. But we HAVE to win the next 5 divisional games.
We are the worst team in our division. Do you watch us play? To do what you suggest would require a huge improvement in special teams, O-line play, O overall, and even D. I would like it to happen but it ain't gonna.

of COURSE I watch us play. But I'm saying that's REALLY the only realistic shot I can think of that will get us there....

I know you watch us play, but you have to notice that we are, well, BAD. An average team could win the games you list, but right now we are light-years below average.

lol I never said we were any GOOD. just because I'm stating what this team needs to do in order to have some kind of chance, doesn't mean I'm calling them "elite."
And I wouldn't call us "light years" below average. We've definitely regressed it feels like from last season unfortunately.

I will consider it if we win the next 2-3 games. Then we can talk about making the playoffs. We should have beat Oakland 24-9 with Smith overthrowing Morgan for the TD. Don't get me wrong, Smith played very well considering the fact that he did not turn the ball over. Alex is still on a tight leash but with this win I think the leash is a little longer. However, Alex said he would play agressive and he did! He threw a deep ball to Crabs on 2 and 20 people!!! If we see more of that there are better days ahead of us

We have regressed a lot and based on our actual performance are one of the worst teams in the league. I don't think "light years" is an exaggeration. I would dearly love to see us win the games on your list, and in football anything is possible, but we are talking

if you guys were expecting a blow out win, then you probably don't understand the mental side of the game...
this team was in a bad mental place, they were 0-5 and when that kind of failure ig magnified by the expectations, the players begin to question everything, the coaches, themselves, there is a lot of tension and everybody is on the edge, I bet today on the morning they weren't even sure they can beat the raiders...
today was a grinder a game that was ugly, rainy and one we could very easily lose on stupid mistakes or penalties, but we didn't and that just by itself should gives this team some confidence, we found the plays we need in crusialt times and pull this W off...
we just need to build from it and continue to grind if we put more win in a row this team can gain confidence and then we will start seeing impressive wins, but for now its small but very crucial steps in the right direction....
