ok I'm in.

Here's what needs to happen. A 3 game winning streak before the BYE. Then, taking that momentum against the Rams, Bucs and Cards.

We are now 6-5 going to Lambeau Field to visit an old NFC rival.

To be continued...

The Packers are sure getting banged up this year. Looks like they have lost Finley for the year now.

Yep and here's what the crystal ball said...

This Sunday, Coach Sing pulls his pants down again, this time a bit longer for the entire team to see what he really wanted them to see the first time...The light at the end of the tunnel . The players see the truth and the "miracle" begins to unfold game by game.

MJ's offense begins to takes shape. The OL finally gels and Heitman's return sparks a resurgence in the run game. Gore and Westbrook begin to share the load (no homo) and they do the business. Dixon too will get his during the later the part of the season and comes through BIG for us!

This opens up the passing game. The STD's (VD and Crabs) are gonna do their thang because "cough" insert QB name here "cough" is starting to believe that HE IS THE ONE "cough".

Manusky saw the light too and gets the D gets back in top 5 shape. Spikes, the emotional leader sets the tone. Willis gets back to his old form and takes over games. The secondary will get their share too - Goldson and Mays will begin their collection of WR helmets and Sopoaga's "Haka" dance becomes a dance phenomenon in clubs in NorCal.

...We are now 6-5 (maybe 5-6) going into Lambeau Field with a chance to get back in the NFC West title race .
It's nice to dream, but can we at least get 1 victory first?

who the hell knows???
The Niners fail to show up for average teams, see Seahawks, and KC this year. The team shows up for contenders, see Atlanta, New Orleans and Philadelphia, but cannot finish, and the team has not beat an above 500 team consitently since the 90s.

Super Bowl is out of the question.
Yup. Not to mention, our coaching staff continuously gets out-game-planned and out-strategized each and every week...Seattle and K.C., cases in point. If we get our act together, we might make a run for the division, but there's no way in hell we beat any team with a big-league coaching staff.
Ahh, let me think. Superbowl run? Not unless every other team in the NFC die in plane crashes.

Candlestick isn't up to league standards for hosting a Superbowl.

0-5 is a bad start. But I still have some blind faith that we can turn this around. I think if we Win on sunday, we have a good chance to run the rest of the season. If Alex will open it up and Mike Johnson changes the play calling some more, I think things will finally click.

Come on, Let's believe in this. This forum needs some optimism.

Sure the 49ers can! But only if this was the 1994 team....

If only. But our coach is trying to turn us into the 85 Bear team...

I can just hear your ancestors through out time!

As an aide to Napoleon, "After Waterloo, next we take over the world"

As an calvarymen with General Custer "We got them indians trapped at little big horn"

As a steward on the Titanic "It's just a scratch this ship aint sinking"

As a Nazi on D-day "Those guys will never take the beach"

I bet you had an ancestor at every great "Fail" since the Romans doubted Hannibal!

I gotta say though I don't understand it, I LOVE YOUR OPTIMISM!!!
