The first question that came to my mind was that, is Gore still gonna be running every 1st and 2nd down? Sure, Alex taking more deep throws would be nice, but that will only benefit us if he got more opportunities to throw the ball. So after reading the story about that, I'm wondering if this means more opportunities or a simply a slight change in his decision making... because IMO, I would want him to have more opportunities to throw the ball because he gets the ball downfield, not everytime, but it's not like we cant get 7 yards here and there. He has a good pace when throwing the ball without thinking too much.

Now, he'll average 4 picks a game instead of 2.

Being aggressive doesn't always mean "going deep," or throwing more than you run. It can mean fitting balls in to tight windows even if it's a shorter pass, or not settling so much for a checkdown when facing pressure...hanging in the pocket until the last minute to allow the WR to break open. It's an attitude/outlook more than anything...an attitude that says, "we're going to attack at all levels, take chances and not hesitate/second-guess everything that we do."
More than anything, Alex has to change his mindset if he's going to lead this team.

That's more of what I was thinking. Instead of him being conservative and over thinking throws just go out there and throw the dam ball.

We see it every time he tries to come from behind or in his 2 minute drill. He plays like he has nothing to lose and he looks great doing it.
He needs to put his mind in a constant 2 minute drill.
