I'm just waiting to wake up and realize the last 10 years have been a dream.
This.

It's not that they have faith in Alex Smith it's that there just isn't anyone else who they believe in that can get the job done.

When all these things happen, then the joke's on you Mr. Mariucci, Irvin, and Sanders.
Dude, I hope you are being sarcastic.

We'll have the last laugh after we win 9 of our last 11 games and win the West. No, I'm not smoking crack. The schedule came down on us hard for our first five games. Sure, we didn't do ourselves any favors by throwing away two games (Nate, Alex). Still, we'll win the next six in a row to pull into a tie for first and then start watching all those "experts" start jumping on the 49ers bangwagon...at which point, we'll gracefully kick them in the nards and tell them to go stuff themselves. Yep.

I am jealous of the fricking Cardinals, Larry Fitzgerald et al rallying around Max Hall to try to help him to succeed. The team did not support leinhart, and the coach got rid of Leinhart. Alex Smith has lost his teammates and the fans. If I was in charge I would cut Alex Smith today, bring up Nate Davis from practice squad and start Troy Smith the rest of the season. It could get no worse than 0-5.
He's lost fans to be sure, but his teammates openly have his back.
That's because his teammates don't know anything else but crap QB play. The Cardinals had Warner to compare Lienart to and they knew when they saw suckiness.
Wow, you sure give them so little credit for possessing any sort of intelligence. As if none of these players have never seen one of the elite QB's play. That's a horribly weak argument, Joe. You're just throwing things out there grasping for straws on that one. Give them the benefit of the doubt that they at least possess brains to know the difference. Alex isn't a superstar, we all know that, but they're not blindly backing him.
They are blindly backing him. It's there way of not allowing the lockerroom to blow up. Imagine if the players actually started questioning Smith and Sing's decisions. What then ?

Deion and Irvin can take a long walk off a short pier. Fran Charles? Has he ever played a down in the NFL? Mooch? He might be the only one who has a legit grip with the 9ers, although he seems like he's pretty classy and would be above it.

lol your op was funny as hell man
yeah that's why they were laughing at the 9ers cause they don't know football and are has beens
you really are too much
last time I checked the last playoff game that was won Mooch was the coach last super bowl Mr Sanders was the CB and I hate the cowboys but you have to respect a HOF wide out
the reason for them laughing is that it was pathetically comical how this team turns the ball over 5 times and loses by 3 points

Even if we did win the next 9, AZ and Seattle have to lose games. Seattle probably will lose games but AZ is getting lucky. They beat the Saints, whom we couldn't even beat because of our own mistakes.
If we can put up 20+ points a game, we'll win. Our offense can do this, its just the mistakes that always kills the drive.

I think Singletary was translated incorrectly by the media when he told them last year, "I Want Weiners".
Cheers.

As well as it should be. When you talk as much as this organization has, fall flat on your face, and lose in 5 spectaculary bad ways, you deserve to be every bit of the running joke of the league.

You forgot the same coaching staff for 5+ years straight to ensure continuity.
