Before the draft A LOT of you wanted Berry, saying that Mays was "overrated"and some of it was disdain for an USC player. In hind site would you still want Berry over Mays??

too early to make that assessment. come back in 3 years and ask again.

but....... Mays played great last week. let's hope he continues to work hard and get better.

WAY too early to tell. But I was happy with the Mays pick. Before their final college season, it was up in the air as to who would be the better safety in the NFL. Mays had a bad year, but who doesn't every now and then. i'm on bad year #7 as we speak.
After Mays junior year...he was probably the top Safety. I wanted him and now that he's on the team its pretty remarkable we were able to get him in the second. The kid has something!!!

It is NOT too early to tell at all. You can see the difference in quality of play. Mays is a stud!
We had no shot at drafting Eric Berry anyways.

I would rather have Dexter McCluster, but I'll settle with Mays.

We also had no chance at drafting McCluster, in the 2nd round.

yea, i wanted a speedster and was happy when we picked up Vann. Should of converted him to a WR.

I agree with the speedster part. I really wish we had a guy similar to Devon Bess to play that role with us.

I have a feeling Reggie Smith will be our FS next year, I'm fine with that.
The correct answer is Earl Thomas

3 picks already on the season

Hindsight is 20-20, but would he have been a good pick if we had traded down and got him, and had an opportunity to pick up another linemen in the second round? That's a big hell yea, for me at least. Other than Gore, this organization seems inept at drafting play-makers on offense.

Here is what I said before the draft about McCluster...

Quote:
If he runs a 4.3 or better in the combine, then teams will be jumping all over him in the first or second round. I see a lot of comparisons being made, but if he runs a sub 4.3 I would compare him to Chris Johnson which would almost guarantee him a 1st round pick.
