It's sad that an 0-4 team can still be in it, but that's our divsion-the laughingstock of the NFL. Good for us that we can still make the playoffs, but the fact we won't be respected by the team we play if we get there and could quite possibly be blown out is bad. Really bad.

Some positives so far:
Only 2 games back.
We play the good teams close. We just need to improve a little to start beating them. Considering our rookie offensive line, that seems likely.

Just wow. Our QB threw two int's with 9:24 left to play in the 3rd quarter so game was far from over. The Skins D, and running game stepped up tremendously and they won. Why cant our team come thru like this. This is the biggest issue for our team.
If the offense isnt producing what it should, if we won the game 10-7, who cares because good and great teams all say the same thing. WE dont care if we win by 20 points or 1 pt. Just as long as we get the W its all that matters.
REgardless of yesterdays game, we had it won, after the Nate Clements INT. Then they got the ball back at i think the 10yd line. I knew in my heart, it's cool, cuz no way they'll get it down the field. Then what the D caves in, and they convert at least 3 key third downs, and thats ball game.
Why cant we have a game, where we go, D. Being that you are supposed to be the force in every game, thanks for winning it for us. But nah, with us it's damn, how could u let them catch that.
Oh well in this loss, i blame the team again. Because when one facet of the team isnt working, the others are supposed to step up. But it never happens and we always hurt ourselves in the end.
But as usual, Go NIners

We would have a team like this... If Shanahan was our Coach and we traded for McNabb.

I'm definitely not giving up, either. We'll be 4-4 by the bye week. That could easily put us in to a tie for first

This is true, and 3 of the 4 games were on the road. That means we still have 6 more home games and 1 in London and 5 more divisional games.
No, its not likely, but the schedule is setup for the Niners to make a comeback if they can get it together. Every other team in the division is 2-2, the Cards are in turmoil and may be benching the QB, The Hawks are falling to earth and I'm sorry...I just don't believe in the Rams yet...lol.

These threads pop up every season. All the way until people come up with mathematical situations and scenarios of how/if teams lose in order for the Niners to earn a wild card spot.
And so far, so fail.

call me crazy, but we still win this division...we are gonna 10-6, all we need is that one win and I expect these so called "fans" to jump back in the wagon, thats how sports is. #49erfaithful

i think we can win the rest of our division games. we killed STL last year and the only real difference is a rookie QB, we play seattle at home, and ARZ has worse QB problems than me
