Singletary usually knows when a screen is coming but he failed to communicated it to the defense and moreover, he failed to teach the defense to defend the screens. Yes, one might say that it is not his job. But he is the head man.

There are no adjustments being made on either side of the ball.

We can't generate a pass rush with 4 guys
We compensate by blitzing multiple OR putting everyone back in coverage
The screens and dump passes are a counter to us.
In order to counter screens and dump passes we leave something else open...that is the chess match of football.
I would vote to leave the deep passes open once in a while. Low percentage play anyways and the extra time might actually result in a sack.
Manusky appears to prefer the bend not break instead
