Ok this year I dunno, I think Manusky gonna stick in some smith, some mays, maybe even some taylor, put it on a slow boil and see who gets to the top. They are all gonna get a chance. Taylor showed some flavor at OTA's and has a better frame than smith. Mays... well the Q is; can he cover? I say trial by fire, i say he can.

but my crystal ball is showing a #22 out there as well, hmmmm.

Smith seems to make a lot of plays when he is on the field.

He has been on special teams and isn't doing much.

As for the OP question I think we will get to see Smith and Mays. Both have a chance to show what they got because Goldson is a FA next year and if he wants big money we might let him go. So one of those guys could be our FS next year.

This, goldson had one good game, and one kinda good game last year. I hope the niners let him walk, and move forward with smith, mays, taylor.

Looks like Mays is getting the start today. At least that is what Gary said- wow from third team to starter in two days.
