Joe Montana was winning Super Bowls while Rice was still in High School.

How do you even argue against that? 5 Super Bowl Rings with 5-0 record and 0 INTs combined. Young is all time passer rating leader and Montana is 7th. Both were first ballot hall of famers. No other tandem even comes close to those records.

Van Brocklin and Waterfield are also in the HOF. For all you people that don't watch much NFL films and are less than 70 years old, they played for the late 40's early 50's Rams and shared the QB position.

At one time Green Bay had Favre, Warner, Brunell on the same roster. Warner was cut.

A great QB can turn a pretty good receiver into an elite receiver, a decent receiver to a pretty good receiver and a below-average receiver to a decent receiver. Look what Peyton Manning does with these guys nobody has heard of until they get to Indianapolis and Peyton puts their names on the map. Garcon? Collie? Really?
I'm not saying Joe and Steve made Rice, but they definitely helped.
Nor am I saying Rice made either one of them...
They all helped make each other
Hence football being a team sport.

Tim Ratty and Cody Pickett are the 2 greatest QB's on the same team at the same time.

No idea why we're arguing this.
Montana was a winner when Rice was in high school.
Rice was an elite receiver whether it was Montana, Young, Grbac, or Gannon. (Gannon's good too though, but still!)
Young always had Rice throughout his career, but still had success when Rice was down for a year. (I think he had a young TO though)
We had three elite players that played together, putting eachother into the Hall of Fame.

Dorsey was better than Rattay.

Hands down the best. VanBrocklin and Waterfield were pretty good but time fades the memory. VB the only man to throw for 500 yards in a single game.

Montana + Young = 5 Superbowls from 1979-1999
Favre + Rodgers = 1 Superbowl from 1992 - Present
Rodgers has a lot of work cut out for him. Talentwise, you have to give Brett props for being a good player and semi-clutch (yes, he was clutch.....dont tell me that your heart doesnt skip beats when he has the ball in his hand with less than 2 min to go on the final drive).
Regardless, Niners win this battle easy.
