I wish we kept Martz and found a QB that could fit his mold. From Martz to Jimmy Raye is about as diametric a shift as you can make, and not in a good way either. From mad scientist to sleepy librarian.

Martz didn't even use Vernon Davis properly nor did we have the WRs that could succeed in the system.

If those two guys hadn't of bailed on us (for less than a year) Alex Smith would at least be something near a playoff quality QB by now.
