Why? He did pretty well in college and when he had a chance in the NFL as a rookie he was decent. If Smith doesn't pick it up give him a shot IMO.

Just let Smith finish the season. If he stinks we draft a new guy, if not then we don't.
Honestly the only times smith has really looked good this season has been when he was calling his own plays. Let's wait and see if his struggles were because of himself or Jimmy Raye.
