No, "Mamamusky" shouldn't be fired, at least during the season. His side of the ball has shown that they can be a dominant defense. Sure, there's been problems. But this D has been good, if not great, previously.

Or defense is way overrated. Manusky is lucky Ray sucked monkey balls. There is no excuse for the Seattle and KC performance. At best we are a middle of the pack defense.

no way bro, our defense is solid, they played well in this game until our inept offense started making them take risks. Its just like if you are at work doing a job, and you have that one jerk that sucks at his job, and everyone else has to make up for the slack. Eventually everyone will start feeling mad that the jerk isn't holding his weight and bicker amongst eachother. Well Sing, now "the elephant" has left the room. Good ridden's raye.

We are better than middle of the pack but far from elite. People respect our d but don't fear it. We have the talent on d to be feared just need a serious pass rusher on the outside or a shutdown corner. And to be more consistent as well.

Knee jerk reactions especially from the kiddies here. The defense has done well for the most part and you don't just fire everyone just because you're upset that they lost.
How does it go: Gore fumbles so let's get rid of him. Davis fails to catch a pass so let's get rid of him, Willis fail to make a tackle so let's trade him ... seems to me that if ANYONE makes a mistake, there's always somebody who wants rid of him.
Gosh, don't you wish everyone was as perfect as you? Who ALWAYS makes the right decision?

. Once again management is clueless and only gets it a year after the fact. Poor quarterback play, poor uninovative playcalling, time managemet issues, special team issues, lack of pass rush and of course no team speed on defence. Team speed helps support the screen plays and the outside runs. THis team has done nothing. Theyll get it a year later. Im sure in 2011 they will address some of these glaring weaknesses. At least they got a grip on bringing in the plays witin 40 seconds. WHAT A JOKE OF A TEAM.

Amen brother, we got some serious ADD kiddies here that overreact to everything. We just need another player or two on defense and we will be solid, these players may even already be on the team even, and just in need of experience.

He shouldn't escape any blame...but, he needs a stronger DL, Bowman vs Spikes, Brooks vs Haralson, Reggie Smith vs M. Lewis, etc. to get faster. He also needs to be able to adjust on the fly, when teams throw stuff at him like Weiss did for KC yesterday.

As posted above, one bad game does not overshadow a few years of solid, and sometimes spectacular, defensive play. Manusky is fine.
Also, though I don't think that it is the right move, I think the poster above is correct: When Sing is let go, Manusky will be the coach. Ugh. I would prefer a name brand.
