So far we've lost at the two loudest stadiums on the road (Where those teams are a combined 4-0), and against the defending Super Bowl champs at home. What remains are six road games, six home games, and one game in London against a team we're better than. Below is a look at the remaining schedule.
@ATL
PHI
OAK
@CAR
DEN
*BYE*
STL
TB
@AZ
@GB
SEA
@SD
@STL
AZ
When I look at it, I see two likely losses, and a bunch of games we can and should win. The two games that we should lose are next week at Atlanta, and in Week 13, at Green Bay. Aside from those games, the rest of our schedule is fairly easy. The next two biggest challenges will be our home game against Philly in Week 5 and our road game against the Chargers in Week 15.
This season is far from over. Three game losing streaks happen to good teams. But if we are a good team, and I truly do believe we are, we will rebound... even if we lose again next week.
What's with you, Mr. Pessimist? I'm thinking 13-3. That's right, I said it. BTW, did you hear I want WINNERS?

I've grown really tired of waiting every year for almost 12 years for a great 49ers team to emerge. I really though we were close in the early 2000's but unfortunately that fell off and we've been a miserable pathetic excuse of a football team since. I really blame this on bad management and poor coaching. We haven't had a good coach since Mooch. As for the Yorks, well enough said. We finally have enough talent to contend for at least a playoff spot, but we are constantly being out coached every week. The players aren't prepared and it shows. This isn't a problem that's just happening now, it's been happening since Singletary blew the comback in 2008 against Arizona. He's a great motivator and that's it. He doesn't understand schemes and he hire's a guy who's 150 years old and is the most predictable coach I've ever seen. In my opinion they both should be fired! Smith shows flashes here and there, but he's not good enough to lead this team anywhere past a wildcard game. This team doesn't need to be blown up, it just needs a good qb and good coaches who know what the hell they're doing. That said I do believe a 9-4 record is possible and I really hope they can finish strong, but then what? The window to win is so short and I believe this team is pretty close to returning to a winning franchise, but not if they are led by those 3 losers in Singletary, Smith and Raye. I hate to say this and hopefully I'm proven wrong and the niners make the playoffs and win the superbowl, but I think what's best is to get rid of Singletary and Raye, sign Smith to a 1 year deal or sign a better qb in the offseason, draft a qb with their first pick and hire a new HC and OC. In 2-4 years the niners will be much better because of this. Unfortunately this means waiting another few years to be relevant again. In a perfect world the Yorks would sell the team back to Eddie D but that would be a miracle.
Sorry for the essay guys, this has been building for a long time. Let me know what you all think
Is it fair to call Smith a loser six days after he lead the greatest scoring drive in recent 49er history? That feeling we all had was awesome.

The proposed mission is ridiculous.
The real mission is to have Singleplayraye fired as quickly as possible.
The loss against KC had nothing to do wiht a loud stadium. The team was flat, unprepared, unable to react and lost on the field. As simple as that.
Raye is old, does not know what he is doing and his play calling is completely predictable.
Simpletary is continuing to work with an OC who is old, does not know what he is doing and whose play calling is terrible and seems to think that this is normal.
The duo has to go.
As far as the season is concerned, it is wasted again. Talent is being wasted and the fans are logically losing patience.
I cannot believe that I booked two tickets for the London game, hoping that this year we would finally have a competitive team...
They are so boring to watch, this is just incredible !
Let's clean this mess and then, Go Niners !

Totally agree with this. I was at Arrowhead and have been there for plenty of other games. It was FAR from loud. There was probably 1 9er fan for every 12 Chiefs fans, surprisingly. KC prepared by watching film and the 9ers didn't change a thing. Almost as embarrassing as the 41-0 game in 06.

You shouldn't project your feelings onto everyone. While I'm not happy with the playcalling from Raye, and don't think I ever have been, I don't think this season is lost just yet.
