Our OL looks very impressive against a great saints DL that gets pressure on other QB. Last night our OL held up very nicely and weren't called for many penalties.
Alex had all day to pretty much throw the ball all game except the last 2 min where his legs kept us in the game.... but just wanted to praise our OL and what a great job they did.

Agreed, the OL was greatly improved.
Also, Gore ran very hard and had good yardage after 1st contact, and Alex got rid of the ball faster or ran for yardage when things broke down, which helps the OL as well.
Great things are coming.

Iupati was in beast mode last night. A. Davis was solid too.

love the attitude of the youngsters. saw on occasion how A. Davis was going after defenders after they would be piling up on Frank Gore.

Remember, this is the same dline that manhandled Minnesota in the playoffs and made Favre think twice about coming back this season.

Hey Eric Heittman, there's a nice spot open for you at RG!
Man would our OL be solid if he moved to RG. That's our only weak spot.

That would be pretty sweet. We would have awesome depth as well as quality starters.

The only thing is they need to do this on the road. If we were in New Orleans and turned the ball over 5 times, we would have probably lost by 30.

I saw that. I also saw Crabs run over to get a big linemen off of Gore once too. A. Davis was pretty vocal in the huddle prior to getting the call as well, which is also a great sign.
