Yes it was, but the Chiefs had a much better team then, and our team was much worse. Cassel looks completely lost in Charlie Weis' system, and our defense is going to be all over him next week. I'm sick and tired of this 0 and 4 talk. The way our team is coming together, there is NO WAY we lose that game on Sunday.

4 years ago. We had a s**tty defense, and I believe KC made the playoffs that year. Now they are much worse and we are much better

There were some real bad breaks and bounces last night. It happens. Some were our fault. Some were just bad breaks. You have to put it behind you and move on.

bottom line is this team needs to be more resilient, can't just fold like they did up in Seattle week 1 if things start to go wrong

I thought they were very resilient last night, so much unlucky s**t happened and still put themselves in a position to get to OT against the SB champs?
Now we need to do it on the road.

yup that's the key, being resilient both home and away

McDonald tipped the final FG, not Franklin.

Exactly. I think the wristband is gonna help a lot along with the o-line gaining great experience each week

Stuff will start going our way when we start playing better.

I think the sooner this o-line gels, the vastly better we'll be. Alex had time and in some cases plenty of it to make the throws.
The line played really well, and if they can build off of it look out. Alex had time to throw, and Frank had room to run. We moved the football, then we shot ourselves in the foot. I knew that this line would need time to put it together, I predicted 6 weeks. Hopefully they got it done earlier than expected.
BTW I'm glad the experience of Quest Field is fresh in this line's minds......they should be better prepared.

Luck is made in football by good solid coaching of fundamentals, Walkers fumble not luck poor coaching, Adams muff when he should have been nowhere near that punt, bad coaching, pass tipped by defensive lineman, poor coaching, proper O-line technique can limit this. and on and on and on, Smith's tipped pass to Frank, repetition in practice would help Alex put that ball right on Frank.
I tend to always look at coaching first, The Saints lead the league in striped balls and take aways, why, coaching, their coaches stress it, Bill Walsh teams rarely fumbled or dropped passes why? it was a major point of emphasis!
So when will the breaks go our way? when our coaches demand perfection!
