I was talking about why Saint fans might not like Ditka. Singletary had nothing to do with it.

It's a good thing that Singletary isn't in charge of our draft though. I don't think personnel evaluation skill is his forte either.

Last time I checked, Singletary had one as well.

Singletary the player has a ring, Singletary the coach has a future Miller Light commerical.

How many years was Ditka coaching the Bears before he got his ring?

Ditka made the playoffs in year 3 and won the Super Bowl in year 4. Year one was a strike shortened half year for him so I guess if Singletary gets us to 10-6 then he's still on pace with Ditka.

I agree. You combine Ditka's, Singletary passion with brilliant x and o's guys you have a winning formula. You take that away though and you just have a coach pulling down his pants at half time.
