I don't know how many yards he will get, but I do know one thing: the Saints will put 8 men in the box and run blitz almost every play except 3rd and long. If Smith/Raye cannot get them out of this, I predict less than 3 yards/carry. I honestly don't know how many times Raye will run Gore up the middle against the stacked line, so it is hard to say how many total yards he will get.

The only way to break this would be for Smith to come out slinging and actually be successful. It is so embarrassing to have a QB/coach who cannot take what the defense is giving you. Basic football-- but hey, we have two rookie linemen so we should be able to play smash mouth no matter what, right?
