He got lucky, the Yorks are celebrating not having to fire him, he will be here even longer, the win may have ruined the franchise for years, the most expensive win in modern Niner history.

He will still be gone after the season. We are not going better than 6-10, and that is being optimistic.

It'll be spendy for the Yorks if they fire the staff (all that dead money) and pay a new coach/staff to come in.

Then they have no business owning a pro football team.

The Yorks are so stupid that this may convince them to keep Singletary. Yorks are the problem.
He tried is best to lose, but it was just out of reach.

Well, Singletary has the bye week to figure out what went wrong and fix it.

On NBC's pre-game show, Peter King is saying that Sigletary "looks like a genius" for bypassing Carr and starting T. Smith. He also called today "Singletary's best day as the 49er's coach."

Are you kidding me? Starting the waterboy would have been a better choice than Carr. Starting Troy Smith was a no brainer.

This was an EXTREMELY costly win. It basically killed our shot at the #1 pick as well. At this point, we're just destroying our draft position and our future.

Honestly with our luck, we would have drafted another "Alex Smith."

Luck seems to be a no-fail guy. Other random picks are crap shoots, but he is clearly the real deal.
