I know what you're saying, but Balmer and Robinson don't have 1/100th of the role on the Seahawks team when compared to Bledsoe and Milloy.
Also, Pats were coming off the super-bowl, I can understand them being over-confident. We are coming off a .500 season and 4-0 pre-season, but you see - it's a big difference. We had no reason to be full of ourselves. That attitude scares me more than the loss.
Anyway, I still think we have a decent team. I mean, majority of the board was raving about Alex when he was 9-10. He needs to remember - when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

You make a valid point, but both players were on the team for multiple years and they were on the team late in the preseason, if not all, so they knew the entire playbook. I really do think that had something to do with the game, yesterday. It didn't decide the outcome, but it had something to do with it.

You are correct, of course. But don't bother trying to reason with the Zoners. The season is over, we are terrible, Smith is worse than JaMarcus, Singletary is Richie Kotite, and they should all be fired and replaced immediately.
Yesterday's game was incredibly frustrating. But, c'mon, like Hollywood says, it was one game. There are fifteen more. We have now seen 6.25% of the season; there is 93.75% to go. Put down the revolver.

But all of the sudden Atlanta and Philly look easy, using this logic.

this
When I seen Mark Sanchez and Schottenheimer having problems getting plays in, I immediately thought the chances of a 49er victory in Arrowhead just got real slim.

Appreciate the optimism. As far fetched as it may seem...feels nice.
I hope things get better man.

Yea...especially Robinson. Balmer is a dummy, he didn't know his own plays - I doubt he knew our offensive plays. Robinson is a smart motherf**ker, he probably told them the lanes to blitz.
Ugh...I can't f**king wait to go to the Saints game. I want to come back from the game with no voice for 3 days!

Didn't the patriots go right back and blank the bills 31-0 later in their second game?

By the way, this is an old time veteran here, haven't posted on this site for like four years, though I've kept reading, just haven't had the desire to post. I have a thread in mind this time though, one that i'm surprised hasn't come up yet, but I guess I'll have to wait to start it. I'll give you a hint though, it has to do with a QB on the team who has yet to garner any interest, and a truck full of musicians dedicated to him.
You talkin' bout Troy Smith? I don't have an opinion any more so why not

No, I comprehend what you're saying just fine. I just have zero confidence in the guys who are lacing up and coaching for the 49ers to pull any sort of magical rebound at this time.
I agree with this. Creativity, the ability to put together an effective game plan, use all the talent on your team to your advantage, the ability to make in game adjustments, etc are all weaknesses on our team. The sad thing is that the issues we saw are so easy to correct, but will we correct them? It's doubtful.
