You should have just said all the noise in the world won't stop Drew Brees. He's going torch our secondary so bad, it's going to get ugly.

The hell does this have to do with the subject of this thread? Seriously... I mean seriously!

The OP said let's make candlestick the loudest place in the world to help our team win... I'm saying that no matter how loud it is, Alex Smith is still Alex Smith. We'll need more than A few false start penalties or delay of games to beat the Saints.
Your reading comprehension needs work. Alex Smith not being one of the better quarterback and "sucking" has nothing, NOTHING, to do with the subject of this thread. We have enough threads dedicated to Alex Smith where you can "b*tch" your heart away...

I remember last year when Arizona just beat the hell out of minnesota and kurt warner was lighting up the score board. Then he faced us on monday night football and our stadium was rocking. And from the start of the game til the end of the game we destroyed them. I think if we bring that same energy it will feed into the players and the momentum will be ours.... that is ofcourse until Drew Brees turns into Drew Brees and Alex Smith umm well you know the rest...
it was a hopeful thought....

You know I was listiening to ESPN radio today on my way home from the unemployment office. And the show was "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd. And he was talking about QBs. And he made some interesting comments. Talking about how he met Ben Rothlisberger and Alex Smith at a golf tournament when they first got drafted.
He goes on to say you can tell the difference between the two Qbs immediately. Ben commanded the room when he was surrounded by the media. Ben talked loud and the people sort of gravitated toward Ben like he had this mystique about himself. While Alex on the other hand was very shy, very quiet, had a soft handshake. And Colin said to himself he knew immediately that he Alex wouldn't make it as a successful QB because he doesn't seem to have the characteristics that a leader of a NFL football team needs.
He goes on to say why do people still believe in the Alex Smith experiment after 6 years. He said Drew Brees, Ben Rothlisberger and Payton Manning get you in the endzone. He says that Alex Smith and Jason Campbell may get you down the field. But never in the endzone.
He also talks about how Alex was not that successful as a high school Qb only being drafted by two colleges and one of them was Utah. Also saying that he wasn't this highly scouted QB like a Sanchez when he graduated high school being sort by schools all over the country.

Good idea. The fans would never have thought to do that on their own. They would probably yell when the 49ers had the ball. Either that or boo or become physically ill.

How easily people forget how horrible Brees started out with the Chargers.

I agree with you Alex is definitely on the same development path as Brees, we just need to be patient

Yeah, he just needs to go to another team for the prophecy to be complete.
