If any of my fellow zoners can help a brotha out.
I havent really researched Raye and figured some more sesoned Vets or OG football fans can give me a heads up on how he did in the past.
We talked about this when we first hired Raye, and if im not mistaken didnt he at one point coach TE Gonzalez and they said he had great numbers with a pretty good passing game on the offensive side of the ball?
If im mistaken, my bad, but I mean has he had success before?

Smith and Davis did have career years. Crabtree also did quite well for a rookie. I think that says something positive about his passing offense.

Raye had good offenses in KC... and yeah Tony Gonzalez was a big recipient of his play calling. I dont remember all the numbers or how long he was there, but I do know there was a 4000 yd passer before that was the norm... Tony G and Derrick (anderson? - from Michigan) both had 1200 yards or so. I think the offense was in the top 10 while he was there... I cant for the life of me think who the RB was... but am pretty sure he offense was much more pass oriented than run because of the talent.
Cant tell you about any other places hes been but unfortunately I do remember his time with the chiefs... and Elvis Grbac!

They had several diff RB's...Everyone from Bam Morris to Tony Richardson who may be a FB but saw a lot of carries.
The thing is though, in KC he had a dominant O-Line which made it is easier for him and everyone else.

Eff Norris! We should alternate D-Love and Vernon at TE and FB. These guys need more touches!

Jimmy's offense dates back to the leather helmet days. He was fired by the Providence Steam Rollers back in 1931 and has been bouncing around the league ever since.
