We lost opening week in a hostile environment against a team we had no way to prepare against who had alot of energy. You can't gameplan a team with 29 new players, new schemes, a new coach, etc etc etc. You will see a much different game later in the year in San Francisco. The thing to take from this game is thank GOD it's week 1, last year losing in Seattle when we were prepared ruined our season, perhaps getting our asses kicked right out of the gate can be a rallying point for this team for the remainder of the year. We have a week to get ready for New Orleans now and that's all that matters now, THE ENTIRE TEAM SUCKED on Sunday and we will see how we rebound and what kind of team we really have.

I really hope you are right, but I still see 0-2 coming real soon.

0-2 for sure. Then the excuse will be "We played the best team in the NFL. We really didn't have a chance."
What scares me more is that after 0-2, we go on the road for two games straight. Realistically, we could be looking at 0-4.

We sucked...it's not the end of the world, the Colts lost to the Texans for the first time in how long? Only 3 road teams won out of 13 games on Sunday. Home field advantage is pretty obvious in the NFL we were 2-6 on the road last year so this is a BIG 3-4 game stretch and we have to start off this season with 3 of 4 on the road. I look forward to seeing how we respond to adversity.

I agree. Everyone is paranoid already and it was only the first game. Yeah we were suppose to beat Seattle, but we really didn't have a way to gameplan against them because new coach, new players, new scheme. I also brought up the point that the Colts lost, the Cowboys lost both teams that were suppose to win their game 1's. We will bounce back, hopefully next week against the Saints. Playing at home with the crowd raises the level of play of a team so I think the 49ers redeem themselves. What better way to do it then against the superbowl champs.
But you said it....right now...."We're Fine"...lets wait till maybe Week 5/6/7. If we have a losing record then, we won't be fine.

I don't care what nobody say. RUN THE F**KING PLAY!
Michael Robinson beat our offensive most of the time. I'm reading that players were saying that, Seattle's Def knew were guys were going to be. I wish I could find more what was said, and during the so-called team meeting at HQ's after the game. BUT if you run the play effectively, you should gain some respectable positive yards. RUN THE F**KING PLAY. EX: Norris, run the damn route, Alex, toss the ball, he's only 12 yards a away from you. RUN THE F**KING PLAY!
You better believe we will see those advanced-plays that supposedly A.Smith had been practicing in TC on MNF. Why give New Orleans successful tape to study for next week?
Our defense was over aggressive, then played under aggressive. That can be adjusted.
I believe they said that Brooks will be ready for MNF. With him, LaBoy, and and the other 2 rotating, hopefully will get a chance to rattle Brees....
Def: don't get beat by the screen or the seam or fade routes. BUT, corners don't get beat by the double move routes. RUN THE F**KING PLAY! On both of those double moves, the safety went to the flat, and it seems the corner had the 3rd. Instead they got over aggressive and went for the pick 6. RUN THE F**KING PLAY!
