Mathai just said that Spikes texted him he couldn't make the show because there will be a team meeting at Santa Clara headquarters!
I wasn't too sure, but I think the team has already flown in. Mathai said post game meetings are extremely rare, and it must demonstrate how pissed off he is.

I hope it works but I hope Singletary takes part of the blame himself. Jimmy Raye, etc need to man up as well.
Edit: and is it me or are coaches afraid to bench players any more? I am not saying anyone should be benched but it's like they need approval from above. I wish more coaches would do what Sing did to Vernon a few years ago. In today's NFL it's like I don't want to upset my star player because they will fight back and the next thing you know they ask for a trade.
