Yep. Believe it or not, a fair number of us Seahawks fans are semi-realistic. We're in full rebuild mode, O-line coach Gibbs just retired practically seconds before the season opener, Okung will miss the opener, etc.
All I can say is, if the Seahawks win, holy Christ you guys better prepare for a bad season. There truly are no excuses if you guys lose; I'm saying that flat-out, right now.
@Hessian: my name actually has some story behind it, I'm not a super angry guy or anything :) Now, if I were a Philly or Oakland fan...best watch out for a shooting or something.

Would you rather A smith choke this year and we miss the playoffs and pick up Brady next year, or rather we make the playoffs and lose in the first round and we give A smith an extension….
This is considering Brady does not sign his extension of course, and the chances of that is slim to none.

Yah the Seahawks are in full rebuild mode. However I do think Sunday's game will be fairly close. You guys have a new coach and your opening up at home. The new coach usually gives team a little boost also your home field is very loud.
I do expect the niners to win but it should still be a close game. Also Sing likes to shut down the O once he as a two score lead.

Sing also likes to shut down the O once he has a two point lead, unfortunately.
That is what worries me the most about this game, one turnover can decide the game with this kind of conservative approach.
