Honestly I think Dixon would fail even if short yardage, it seems like he just ran into a wall every run when he played vs 1st stringers in I think week 2. I know hes the bigger and more powerful back but Id seriously rather see Gore run on 3rd and 1 than Dixon.. And its not like hes a Brandon Jacobs like oger, hes 6'1 235, Gore is 220. its a big difference but its not really a big difference..
Yeah..so far Gore is the harder nosed hitter, hopefully Dixon can start throwing his weight around, if not maybe we should just settle for what he has shown so far which is just being a dynamic player...not so bad if you think about it. Far as Troy Smith goes, I think he will supplant Carr as the #2 before it's all said & done.
