But to the point, Troy Smith has really neither bad nor good stats to say he is any better/worse than Davis. I think Davis had some real potential, but if he is as lazy as Sing suggests, then it is probably best that he is replaced with another QB...

It's not a bad show, I suppose, but I don't see the hubbub about it. I'll only watch it if my lady asks me to with her. I'm surprised the incredible age range it captures when it comes to viewers. People in their late teens to people in their late 50's seem to love it.

But on to the topic at hand... Troy Smith.

Troy is an athletic guy who I actually wouldn't be too uncomfortable with as the #2. He's a good number three in case of emergency.

Definetly an upgrade...

I'm stoked about this pickup. I watched Smith play several games in the preseason since I live outside of Baltimore and often go to their preseason games for free. He has a much better chance at succeeding in this game than Davis did. Remember Troy was going to be the starter before a fluke sickness brought in this nobody named Flacco.

I'm not going to say he's the savior of our team or any bulls**t like that, but this is an upgrade IMO.

He is Justin Smith's uncle, and Alex Smith's nephew.
