I would have waited until after we played seattle.

They have been taking our scraps, they surely would take davis just to learn what we plan to do this week.

Part of the problem seems to have been that Davis didn't know the plan.
WE ARE ONLY GOING TO HAVE 2 QUARTERBACKS ON THE ROSTER????

WOW, Stupidest decision i've seen singletary make since he's been here.

Davis is a STAR!!! IN THE MAKING!

Lettin the future GO!

Calm down the dude sucked.

How did he sucked, He looked so much better than Smith, davis actually looked more comfortable than smith, and knows how to move in the pocket and still make a pass, and has better passes on the run. and His ARM is ridiculous, makes Jamarcus russell look like a Vagine.

Two years and nate davis was makin progress, and we even keep that douche Carr.

Damn, disappointing!

He wasn't making progress, that's the problem.

he's also only 2 years into his career!, i think once this guy gets down the playbook, he'll be dominatin the league!

Why do people keep saying this? He's really only ONE year into his career. His second season hasn't even started yet.

stupid move.. I actually hope he signs with the raiders. That seems like the best fit for him.

Why would any 49er fan want the raiders to get anyone with such potential?

Nate Davis is probably the type that learns an offense by running it, seeing how it works first-hand, etc.. Learning hands-on is much easier for a dyslexic. They gave the guy an average of TWO REPS (2!) during team activities (11-on-11 or 7-on-7 drills). How the hell is he going to learn things with such little hands-on training?

If any team snags him before we get him to our practice squad and actually gives him a chance to learn (the way he most likely needs to be taught), he'll become a good QB and we'll look like a bunch of idiots.
Here's a little more insight from Jason Whitlock, who happens to be a Ball State Alumni.

Hey, until the 12th....we probably will.

I just don't understand why? He's the 3rd string QB who has played well for you know, a 3rd string QB.

It's almost as if we have it out for the guy for some reason.

We better have someone in mind to replace him who's clearly better.

LOL. Anybody who knows the playbook is better. This guy had 2 years with the same playbook and he doesn't know the plays. What does that tell you about his learning abilities?
I don't like it, but coach Sing know better than me what the heck is better for the team, it also shows me the team has more confidence in Alex and Carr...

go niners

Along with his 2015 draft big board.
We should have cut him on Fri and kept M-Rob and have M-Rob be our 3rd QB.

I wonder if the team found another QB out there that they like more than Nate...
