Why dont we..

I know this might be kinda dumb ..

But why cant we release/trade Haralson and extend Manny Lawson's contract?
Lawson is obviously a better LB than Haralson. Brooks showed some great stuff last year and Id much rather have him replace Haralson instead of (replacing )Manny. Lawsons the all around better OLB than anyone we have, hes great in run support and he has the speed to drop back in coverage.

Parys on the other hand gets out run to the edge a lot..and im getting sick of it..

I thought I heard in the offseason that Manny wasnt demanding too much money when he was holding out. I mean he is only getting paid 600k this year

2009 Stats

Manny Lawson
68 Tackles, 3 FF, 6.5 Sacks, 2 PD
And he was out on the majority of 3rd down passing situations

Parys Haralson
45 Tackles, 0FF, 5 sacks
And he had the most playing time at OLB

Ahmad Brooks
21 Tackles, 5 FF, 6 Sacks
And he recieved the minumum playing time out of the 3 at OLB


Its obvious which line backers are the better ones

Yeah, it'd be nice. I really am not liking Parys Haralson to be honest. Dude just is looking slower and worse out there. I doubt it happens, though. I really do want to extend Manny if he continues to shine.

No sure who'd take Parys and his contract, but yes I'd rather have Manny.

we need 2 add another inside linebacker, we are super thin there, lets trade parys for Ray Lewis!
