have you guys heard of law of averages? micahel clayton got 1193 yards and 7 tds in his first year
however the next 5 years COMBINED he got only 1743 yards and 3 tds when he should've been on pace for 5965 yards and 35 tds based on his rookie season!!! lets calculate how much stats he lost in the past 5 years
5965 yards - 1743 yards = 4222 yards
35 tds - 3 tds = 32 tds
the law of averages tells us that in order for his overall career stats to even out properly, Clayton is about to have EPIC HISTORICAL SEASON(S) to make up for those lost 4222 yards and 32 tds!!!! we MUST sign him
Your math doesn't add up. Good players remain good. These guys are not what we need. They are not the Hines Ward type receiver that Sing wants. Gone are the days of Rice and Taylor. This is more like Emmit=Gore Crabtree=Irving and VD-well he is in class by himself. How, many even remember the cowpokes 2nd receiver, and didn't leave them? We'll be just fine with Morgan, Ginn, and Zig. All Ginn is required to do is catch some deep balls and a handfull of TDs and everything will open up for the big three, don't need another 80+ catches receiver because we are not going to be throwing that much. Not with Gore Westbrook and Dixon running and acting as saftey valves.
