Paymah vs Vann

After seeing the game last night, it made me think... How was Leroy Vanns coverage vs Paymahs?...

Paymah was pure garbage last night. It made me think about how Leroy Vann would've turned out as a CB. Vann couldnt have been any worse than Paymah could he?! I was thinking that Vanns athleticism would make up for his questionable coverage skills. Sure, the guys no Revis, (not anything remotely close to it), but after seeing the pathetic play of Paymah -_-

I guess, according to the 49ers, both guys werent that great... but i figure they couldve at least taken the more explosive younger player instead the burnt veteran... I know Vann is in the past now but i couldnt help but think about this.

Thoughts?

vann is way too small to play CB in the nfl

ya I'm guessing Vann basically showed nothing as a CB

even in his return highlights, all I really saw was straight line speed, he wasn't breaking ankles or anything crazy like that
