I was thinking that very same thing today. I feel like we cut a proven commodity(bly) and released a determined to come back player(Harris) for a proven crappy player (Payhmen) and a guy who can't even get on the field (James). I dont get it. Bly was a very good Nickle back, better than anyone we have now.

This. Plus I think they will cut James then keep in contact after he heals back up and make a change a few weeks into the season.

Yes. I agree. Bly seemed to be better than any of the free agent CB's we signed this year, so there must have been a personality conflict with Bly and some of the coaches.

I think that bly gets way too much credit. He lost that game against Minn when he dropped a pic 6 and showed no professionalism when he tried to show boat while the team was being blown out. Adam stays; Paymah is gone.
