Agreed, one of the most over-hyped players until JaMarcus the Hutt came along.

If Alex pans out, then that means Baas played well considering he takes over for Heittman.

That means we have 3 players who will want big contracts next year:

Alex
Baas
Franklin

Baalke and Marathe will earn their paycheck next year.

Don't forget Vernon Davis.

goldson too

Baas hasn't earned a big anything, I would rather draft a new C to sit behind Heitman. Once Heitman is healthy he will be back into the starting lineup.

If Alex doesn't pan out, we'll probably be picking top 10 in the draft, so we may have a shot at one of Locker or Luck.

goldson too

we have a lot of cap room well make it happen

It is really hard to say at this point. We don't know what exactly we have in Davis, and Carr may or may not be damaged goods. Assuming all 3 of them flounder, we would need to draft a QB high next year...

Or we could just trade 2 #1's for Tom Brady!
If Smith doesn't work out we will be drafting his replacement and will start Carr for a season.
if alex doesnt do what he is expected to do than i think the draft could be an option, also Tom Brady has not signed yet and i would bet he wouldnt mind coming back home and playing with the talent we have on the team now!.....at least i can wish!

And Goldson wants more money too right.
Oh there's bound to be a reject that we can pick off the pile.

Maybe we need to get rid of the pan and put him under the broiler.

Now the bigger question is what if Willis and Gore don't pan out.
Would we have to reshape them into a Bundt pan?
