Byham is a much better receiver than I thought he was. I'm not sure if he's the dominant blocker they expected him to be though. I haven't really analyzed that much of his blocking yet. The Coaches would have a much better job than I would of course. I do hope he turns out to be a great run blocker because the Niners do need that in order for the run game to be successful.

Vernon is looking for a new deal too, and unless the Jets are willing to pony up 45 million for a position they already have (Dustin Keller) they're not going to make this deal.
If they trade Revis it's going to be for multiple 1st rounders.
Walker is nice backup, but if you think defenses key in on the running game now just wait to we lose Vernon.

Byham lined-up at fullback on a couple of plays, including the big play to Delanie on the opening drive. He and Dixon combo'd on a nice blitz pick-up on that play.
