Those are some moot points, but I think Tony Romo would disagree with you, he was slaughtered last season in the playoffs. Roid-rusher Jared Allen can destroy QBs even if he's being held down by 3 linemen.
How are they moot points? And I'm speaking statistically...they were an average defense last year in terms of giving up passing yards and TDs. Yes, they have a damn good pass rush, but many teams were able to pass on them in spite of it.
Btw, I wasn't trying to make a ground-breaking, earth-shattering point here...merely a passing observation (no pun intended) on the type of pass defense Davis will be facing on Sunday.
