We're all still waiting because this article was an opinion piece and not based on any new information.

DudeThey've been saying "soon" for like a month and a half.
This isn't news.

I can't say I really blame him. He'll get paid anyhow as long as he shows up later.
I can! Dude is in a contract year (his first and probably last/only chance at a big NFL contract) and he's showing he's not a team player IMO. Once the date passed that the team could not give him a multi-year deal he should have signed his tender and got into camp. The ONLY reason not to at that point is a selfish reason.

Hmmm what is it about Tennesee D-linemen. Maybe Aubrayo will change his name to Albert.

good to hear, we need Aubrayo in 2010.
Our D-Line in 2010:
Justin Smith, McDonald
Aubrayo Franklin, RJF
Isaac Sopoaga, Demetric Evans
One thing that stood out to me last year while watching RJF was his raw strength. I don't know if he is big enough to be a classic NT but he sure has the strength.
I really hope he plays well in the preseason at NT, that would be a huge boost for us.
I believe RJF is the same size as bryant young...of course he was a 4-3 defensive tackle, but still...
Like my wife says "size doesn't matter" I would take technique, strength and athletic ability over pure size. Jay Ratliff is one of the best 3-4 NTs and I believe he is under 300lbs. Sopoga got his shot at NT at 330lbs and he didn't much. Also, I heard RJF was up to around 315lbs about the same weight as Franklin.
I'm really looking forward to how DE Khalif Mitchell finishes the season. He has looked good at DE and has also been taking snaps at NT. He is a long shot at making the roster because we will only keep 6 DLinemen. However, Evans could be a surprise cut if Mitchell keeps playing well.
