I think this would be a good trade for us, just not sure if Chargers would do it. They
do need a NT and we need pass rushing help (even if Merriman is only half as good as he was, that's 7 or 8 sacks a year).
Does anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

What the hell makes you think SD would trade ANYONE for Balmer? Much less Merriman. This is probably the worst fantasy trade I've ever seen. EVER.
