I interpretednthe canary thing opposite. The cards "swallow the canary" because the secret info is they're better than the niners. The trendy pick is the nimers so the canary secret info is cardinal superiority.

Wasn't really listening to Mort's opinions, but have to say that Smith looked like he was really in sync and in a nice rhythm. He looks totally comfortable and in control out there. That's something I've never been able to say about him until now.
It's an immensely positive sign for the offense and for the team.

ya someone reported that Smith was allowed to make his own calls the last series of practice the other day. But he was going against the calls Willis was making. Thats a good leadership drill for those two guys.
