Mays isn't going to sign....it's all a USC-Hawks/Pete Carroll conspiracy aimed at f**king us out of a draft pick.

I say Bowman and Mays get their deals done by Thursday. But I feel a holdout all be it short from one of the first.

Really surprised Bowman hasn't signed yet. All 3rd rounders have been signed but 5 players...

I might be reaching here but I wonder if he got wind that he was rated by the dallas cowboys as a first round pick and is wanting more money because of it. Real thin, I know, but why else has he held out longer than almost all other 3rd rounders?

If he were a 1st rounder, he would have been drafted in the 1st round, not the 3rd.... Duh..
Bowman gets a slotted deal just like everyone else. Even Crabtree got a slotted deal after the 71 day holdout.

Any player drafted by the Niners that may be considering a holdout just needs to look at the Crabrtee episode last year to see what kind of chance they have... I think the Niner's position is quite clear.
I think everyone will sign before the afternoon of Monday, August 2nd.

I predict Taylor Mays to sign first by maybe Tues, Bowman on Wed, followed by the ironing of Davis' contract into Thursday evening. My gut tells me Iuapati will be the last to sign on Sunday (missing the preliminary "classroom" training camp introductions).
Doubt anybody will miss training camp out of this class, and if they do it'll only be the first couple of days.

Excellent point! The Crabtree episode serves as a warning to any rookie thinking of holding out. If the Niners didn't give in to a guy drafted 10th overall in the 1st round they certainly aren't going to bend to a 3rd rounder. Bowman is listening to bad advise if he is considering holding out.
Hopefully they'll all be signed by Thursday and are ready to go by the start of camp.

Aren't Bowman and Davis represented by Drew Rosenhaus? And wasn't he spotted at team headquarters recently?
Bowman/Mays should have their deals done by the end of the week, while I think the other two will carry into next week because, you know how it is, they're going to wait until the other draftees slotted around them sign.
