10. Is Solari, who was fired from the Sea Hawks!, really going to be any better than Forester was?

9. All of our new and improved punt return unit specialists were having problems catching the damn ball in Mini camp. Without pads on… What’s going to happen when they strap on the pads and are going to get hit just after the catch?

8. Why the hell didn’t the Niners even try to upgrade one of our biggest questionmark positions (QB).

7. Our coaching staff looks an awful lot like the cast of the Addams family… (Of course J-Raye is Uncle Fester, J Sullivan, WR Coach, looks like Grandpa, Jason Tarver, assistant LB coach, looks like Lurch, Mike Johnson, QB coach, looks like Gomez, and, I don’t know exactly where he fits in; but, Pete Hoener, TE coach, belongs in the Addams family somewhere…

6. Al Everest is let go and replaced by Kurt Schottenheimer. Isn’t Al regarded as one of the best ST coaches?

5. Why the hell are there posters already asking if players from our 2010 draft class are busts based off of mini-camp second hand information…

4. Karl Paymah and William James are signed; but, Dre Bly is not. What’s up with this? Sure Bly made a mistake; but, you don’t downgrade your team because of it. Do your damn job and coach up the guy…

3. The QB we brought in to push/compete with our starting QB is David Carr. David effin Carr, what the hell! 2 not so great #1 overall picks do not equal 1 good QB…

2. What the hell did Scotty Mac do, sleep with Jed’s girl????

And the #1…

1. Ted Ginn asks VD for catching advice… WTF is up with that!!!

Umm, ok. Sorry we can't all be as cool as you and your total awsome starwars reference...

I understand that this post may not be your cup of tea, so if you don't like the topic, then don't respond.
I agree with most of that. I really like the punt returner one. Seems like that's all I read during OTAs, ANYBODY that was fielding punts couldn't seem to hang on to the damn ball.

The O-line is another good one. Solari didn't seem to help Seattle at all. Those guys were horrible. Now, all of a sudden, our O-line is going to be great because he's here? Not to mention we'll have not 1, but 2 rookies that might be starting.........I don't see how that makes the O-line better, not right away anyway. And we all know that Raye is going to start the season off just like he did last year. Gore will be running the ball right into 8 and 9 man fronts. Andy Lee is going to lead the league in punts.

David Carr......... My question is WHY?
4) Bly signed with Detroit... There he goes...

The Seahawks had horrible injury issues. Despite this, Solari has a good reputation. Maybe the question, could he (and Ray Brown) be any worse?

All of them seemed to have trouble with the Bay Area wind. It's tough on everyone. Because or that, Williams may win that competition.

8. Why the hell didn’t the Niners even try to upgrade one of our biggest questionmark positions (QB).

You don't know whether the front office did try. They did upgrade the backup by getting Carr. Should Alex go down, the team won't have to downshift into S. Hill's weak arm.

If the Niners can be as entertaining as the Addams Family, then they'll go to the playoffs.

6. Al Everest is let go and replaced by Kurt Schottenheimer. Isn’t Al regarded as one of the best ST coaches?

Did you see the Niners special teams?

5. Why the hell are there posters already asking if players from our 2010 draft class are busts based off of mini-camp second hand information…

I agree, this is odd.

4. Karl Paymah and William James are signed; but, Dre Bly is not. What’s up with this? Sure Bly made a mistake; but, you don’t downgrade your team because of it. Do your damn job and coach up the guy…

You can't coach his ego.

3. The QB we brought in to push/compete with our starting QB is David Carr. David effin Carr, what the hell! 2 not so great #1 overall picks do not equal 1 good QB…

2. What the hell did Scotty Mac do, sleep with Jed’s girl????

And said he preferred the beefier types.

And the #1…

Remember the joke with this punchline?: "I've been there before and I know the way out." The best players make the worst coaches.

Im sorry but all very good points. Damn, I never seem to question my team, but you're spot on with the ???s. All relevent also, except for the look-alikes.

If we have to hold our breath when the punt return team comes on the field again this year, we're going to be in some s**t. I'll be pissed
I love Singletary but I thought that was his TOP priority this summer.

I'm not too worried about the O line because we'll put the best five out there. And Sims may surprise and take that starting RT spot and play it better than he did in the past... Staley - Iupati - Heitman - Rachal - Sims ...to start IMO

1. I have no answer for you on that one, mind boggling if you ask me.

2. I'm wondering that as well. I'm sure being an alcoholic hardly had anything to do with it, as Scotty Mac has a job NOW.

3. My guess is, they didn't want another QB hovering over Smith.

4. Although Bly signed with Detroit, I have to agree, we should've re-signed him. He was a nice #2 or #3 CB to have in the secondary.

5. Jumping the gun too much if you ask me. Not only are our O-lineman in shirts and shorts with very minimum contact, but its also a new offense for the rookies too. I haven't played O-line before and probably won't in my next life, but there's much more to learn than just beating your man one-on-one.

6. I'm gonna have to say, the Schottenheimer hire was just a foot in the door for him. IMO, I think he'll move to another position in a season or two. Maybe hes a emergency valve in case Manusky gets hired as a HC, which I wouldn't doubt.

7. Adams family, not really a fan, can't really comment, I'm not the most handsome guy either.

8. I have to agree, I wanna to draft a rookie for a few reasons. 1. If Smith doesn't work out. 2. To push both Carr and Davis (who I'm not sold on either). 3. To groom possibly for the future, again, not sold on Davis.

9. I'll wait till after our 1st or 2nd preseason game to judge our punt return game. By then we should have either replaced one of them or added more.

10. Solari was an assistant to Bob McKittrick, and is well respected around the league as a 20 year coach in the NFL. I think Seattle's problems more had to do with Knapp, injuries to the O-line along with a lot of shuffling on their O-line.

But I can't really add my own, as some of my WTF's relate to yours. Oh wait I have one. Why don't we go out and sign a veteran NT instead of relying on another project or undrafted rookies??

That's a good one. What are we going to do if Franklin gets hurt this year. It may just be me; but, I think that a player is more likely to get hurt if he misses the off-season workouts like Aubrayo did...
