Frank Gore vastly underappreciated

Awesome post.

You can also easily argue that he is more valuable to us than Patrick Willis is.
hes not one of the best players in the nfl
Frank is a complete back - running, catching, blocking, blitz pick up.

Can anyone name another current RB who is as good as Gore in all of these areas?

How can you not appreciate what he has accomplished , he has been a very bright on our spot on the offense
Gore is my favorite player by far and I'm sure there are plenty of other teams that wish they had him. We're lucky to have him and he's going to remind all of us of that this year!

You're right. Relative unproven guys (Smith, Brooks, Goldson Crabtree) get way more love the Gore on here. Whenever Gore has a good game we don't lose, period.

I think Gore has spoiled us. We expect him to be great but whenever he struggles people are quick to get on him. He's gonna be the key to our offensive success just as much as Smith will be. If Smith can keep 8 guys out of the box gore can have a 1500 yard season.
I agree. I love me some Frank Gore.

He's not underrated in fantasy football
I have nothing but respect for Gore on and off the field. His love for the game is obvious to anyone who pays even a little attention.

I'm not sure about rankings, but he's definitely one of the few elite backs in this league.

Without him we're f**ked.

Up until this season I would agree with you, now I think we could still be competitive without him (although its REALLY nice to have a top-5 RB at your disposal)!

not with the depth behind him + the scheme we're going to implement imo.
Ever since 05 I've had mad love.
