How important is hand size??

For a QB it is very beneficial if you have larger hands. It allows you more to pump fake, look at Ben Roethlisberger (spelling?) he has pretty large hands and that allows him to trick defenders.
When you look at Alex Smith, his hands are not as big as Ben Roethlisberger and you notice he doesnt attempt to pump fake much.

For a receiver, obviously its easier to catch the ball with larger hands, especially in traffic.
