Is it good for the Offense or Defense to win all the battles when training camp starts. If the D is winning all the battle does that mean the O sucks or if the O is winning all the battle does that mean the D sucks. I think we need a 50/50 split with good plays on both sides. But it would be nice to here the O is beating the D since it always seems to be the side that get all of the hate...

They usually put the first-team offense against the second-team defense and the second-team offense against the first-team defense. So if the offense wins most of the battles, it doesn't mean all that much. Plus, they very rarely use the entire starting package in camp anyway. The first-team defense (and offense) usually include a few non-starters in there. It's also hard to tell who would really be winning those battles because it's not full-contact and football is a contact sport. Basically, it really doesn't matter which side wins camp battles.

Thats true but I always wonder because you never can really tell how good we are going to be base on what happen in camp and even in the pre-season. You could have a wonderful preseason and suck in the regular.
