Now that Measure J passed... What other major hurdles remain???
Any insight... Parking, Primetime, Great America, Seating... Will
there be an exception made for Super Bowls... I only ask this one
question because I was under the impression that a Super Bowl site
had to have a minimum seating capacity of 80,000... Is this true??
Does anyone have info on this... If this is true, why are they saying
that they are going to put a bid in for a Super Bowl??? Curious

I don't know where you got the 80,000 idea... It was just in Miami which only holds 75,000 (apx) and it's being played at Lucas Oil Stadium (2012) which has a Max seating capacity or 70,000.

The major remaining hurdles are:
1. Financing
2. Financing

It was one of the first things I thought of after it passed and I think we will be fine with the ability to expand to 75k.

these rules are in place to protect the INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. or if the owners all want to make money they can break the rules and play the SB in New York where itll be snowing.....either way.
