Who Should Be the Backup QB?

We all know that Alex Smith has been proclaimed our starting QB heading into the 2010 season, but who should be our backup QB? With the way things are shaping up now, I wouldn't count out Nate Davis one bit!

N.Davis should be the backup. He needs to get the reps in practice instead of having him play safety for the scout team.

Agreed, and he's ahead of Carr in terms of learning the offense. Although Carr is a "veteran", I still want Nate Davis to get reps. I might be completely delusional but I want/think Nate Davis can be a really good QB in this league.
