Alex's yards per completion aren't all that great which helps the "accuracy" stat a little more when your RB is the leading or second leading receiver for a few games.
Don't you guys remember all of the conversations we had immediately following the games? Smith only played decent when we were ahead and the further we were ahead, the better he played.
Let's all hope that he plays that well even when we need him but I don't recall one time he played well when we needed it...not once last season. A lot of it could be play calling but then the same argument could be made for Hill or JTO, so that defense should be ruled out.
I remember you saying that JTO would lead us to the promised land, then it was Hill...
I think it is funny how you discount every time he had a good game and put it all on him when we didn't. There were games we lost when it was on Gore for fumbling, or the defense for not making a tackle, or VD for dropping sure touchdowns, but all you ever complain about is Smith...why is that?
You do yourself a discredit Joe, there wasn't one game that we didn't need Smith to play well, including every single game that Hill started too. So I do not get what is up with your selective memory about when and when we did not need him. Did we only need him when we lost games? It is posts like these that do you no credit other than to show your bias and willingness to ignore facts that are contrary to your stated position.
