Which team in the NFC West is most talented, top to bottom?
New Orleans easily.
? I sense sarcasm ?
How is that sarcasm....The Aints and the Dirty Birds are clearly the best teams in the West then it's us while the LA Rams wallow in the mire. I just don't think Jimmy Everett lights the Rams fire this year.
Dont you mean Chris
We are not talking about tennis, we are talking about football.

Of course we are...and have a legit reason for a change. Remember QBs Dorsey, Pickett and JTO? Remember HB Barlow, WRs R. Woods, Conway, DJax and Lloyd...CBs Sammy Davis, Rumph, etc. Add in OL Jennings and Kwame, too.
I think as Niner fans, we should FINALLY have some hope to actually believe that winning the division title and making the playoffs is a REAL possibility. Let's look at the NFC West opponents:
Cards - Talent has diminished, mainly at QB and WR. They're going downhill and will be battling Seahawks for 2nd place.
Seahawks - Should improve from last season, but still won't have a winning record.
Rams - Last place is guaranteed.
Fans have every reason to be optimistic. Even though the team didn't make the playoffs last year, it did dominate the division and hung tough with SB contenders on the road. The team addressed it's personnel issues on the O-line and kick returners; it also got top notch position coaches to ensure that the new talent performs.
And some folks may not like Raye or Smith, but the offense for once has continuity and an identity. So hopefully the offense can perform during critical periods of the game.
The team is loaded with a mix of emerging elite skill players (Gore, VD, Crabtree, Goldson), savvy productive vets (J. Smith,Spikes,Clements, Franklin, Spencer, Lewis) and blue collar role players. The team has great chemistry and inspirational leadership. That's a recipe for championship contention. Maybe not this year but definitely the next.
Niner fans need to stop being meek in declaring that the team is back and is going to maul, outrun, run through, knock out any team on it's quest to be 6-0 SB!
If you can't feel that way about your team, then why the hell you watch sports for?
